2018 Mazda CX-5 Driver Assistance Systems
Lane Departure Warning will sound an alert if the vehicle detects that the driver is unintentionally exiting the lane. Lane Departure Assist will automatically steer the vehicle back over into the original lane. If the turn signal is on, the system will not sound an alert.

In addition to the Lane Departure Warning and Lane Departure Assist systems, the 2018 Mazda CX-5 offers a variety of driver assistance systems. These features included as part of the i-ACTIVSENSE suite of systems. The i-ACTIVSENSE suite includes High Beam Control, Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop and Go function and Smart City Brake Support. The i-ACTIVSENSE package is available starting on the CX-5 Sport trim level.
Other safety features offered on the 2018 Mazda CX-5 include a rearview camera, Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear-Cross-Traffic Alert and a healthy collection of airbags. The 2018 Mazda CX-5 earned the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety designation of “Top Safety Pick.”
