Following the debut of the Mazda CX-90, a three-row midsize crossover SUV in 2024, the new Mazda CX-70 will make its debut in 2025 as a two-row variation of the Mazda CX-90. The 2025 Mazda CX-70 offers a choice between a gas or plug-in hybrid powertrain system. As a fresh addition to the Mazda lineup, the Mazda CX-70 is packed with exciting features from bumper to bumper.
The striking 2025 Mazda CX-70 is characterized by its elongated, nearly flat surfaces along the roof and hood. Molded wheel haunches accentuate its sleek sides. The front end features a broad grille underscored by a chrome accent, which trends upward along the sides to meet the LED accent ribbons in the headlights. Additionally, the front end of the 2025 Mazda CX-70 is enhanced with uniquely shaped, mesh-enhanced air vents.
The 2025 Mazda CX-70 offers a turbocharged inline-6, 3.3-liter gas engine, generating between 280 and 340 horsepower. Paddle shifters complement the eight-speed automatic transmission on the steering wheel. The plug-in hybrid engine boasts a 26-mile all-electric range and produces 323 horsepower. The Mazda CX-70 is equipped with Intelligent Drive Select, providing drive modes for off-road, EV, Towing, and Sport.
