The Mazda3 has continued to hold its spot as the Mazda brand’s best-selling vehicle and the 2021 model is set to be no different. The 2021 Mazda3 is welcoming new powertrain options to its lineup of carryover features from last year’s model, as well as a few new interior features and elements. 2021 Mazda3 Turbo Engine

For the 2021 model year, the Mazda3 will be offered with an efficient SKYACTIV®-G 2.0-liter engine, which is set to manufacture 155 horsepower and 150 pound-feet of torque in front-wheel-drive models. Additional engine options in the 2021 Mazda3 include a 186-horsepower SKYACTIV®-G 2.5-liter engine and a SKYACTIV®-G 2.5T engine. When equipped with the 2.5T turbocharged engine, drivers will enjoy one of the most spirited performances by the Mazda3 yet. The SKYACTIV®-G 2.5T engine will generate an adrenaline-pumping 250 horsepower and 320 pound-feet of torque on the road with premium fuel, or an impressive 227 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque with regular fuel.  

Connected Services Become Standard in Mazda3 

On top of its new feature options in 2021, the Mazda3 is also bringing a three-year trial of Mazda Connected Services to each model as a standard feature. Mazda Connected Services allows drivers to monitor their vehicles and control certain features all through the MyMazda app. With this service in place, Mazda3 owners can start or stop their vehicle’s engine, lock or unlock the doors, and check the vehicle’s status remotely using their connected smartphone.
