2018 Mazda6 Safety and Driver Assistance Features
The Mazda6 will offer multiple updates and new changes for the 2018 model year. The latest version of the car is here to continue the reputation that previous models have set. The new version of the Mazda6 will be fun, fast, and most importantly, safe. Several new 2018 Mazda6 safety and driver assistance features will be offered on the car.
Mazda6 New Features and Systems
Two new driver assistance systems will be offered on the 2018 version of the Mazda6. The car will now offer a 360° View Monitor and the Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop & Go systems. These new features will join the carry-over features previously offered on the Mazda6. Systems offered on past models include:
- Blind Spot Monitoring System (BSM).
- Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA).
- Smart City Brake Support (SCBS).
- Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC) with Close Proximity Warning.
- Lane Keep Assist System(LKAS).
- High Beam Control (HBC).
- Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS).
- Smart Brake Support System (SBS) with Collision Warning.
2018 Mazda6 Updates and Changes
In addition to the new safety and driver assistance systems, multiple changes have been made to the Mazda6 for the 2018 model year. The car will now offer the available SKYACTIV-G 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This engine is able to produce up to 250 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque.

Additional new technology systems offered on the 2018 Mazda6 include the Active Driving Display system, windshield wiper de-icer, 8.0-inch MAZDA CONNECT infotainment system and the windshield-projected Active Driving Display head-up unit.
